Product Description
This antibody was developed using aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) BSA conjugates and affinity purified with an AFB1-Agarose affinity column and competitively eluted by free AFB1. The antibody could be utilized for detection and quantization of the food-borne mycotoxin AFB1.
Indirect competitive inhibition ELISA using immobilized AFB1-BSA (ICP0.1 μg/μL) and anti-AFB1 (0.1 μg/mL), 50% inhibition occurred at 0.7 ng/mL of free AFB1 in a non-optimized conditions.

Scientific Description
Aflatoxin B1 is a food borne mycotoxin which is carcinogenic to both humans and animals. Contamination with AFB1 in food may be harmful to humans and animals.
Storage & Stability
Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at -20°C. Expiration date is three years from date of shipping if stored properly.
